"...In 2014 she was serviced by Gran Tourismo of Los Angeles. The transaxle was overhauled, a new clutch slave cylinder was fitted, the rear brake calipers were rebuilt, new plugs were installed and the fuel and coolant hoses were replaced."

"REBIRTH OF AN ALFA ROMEO"

"...When the body was ready, the GTV went back to Filippo's shop, and they removed the suspension, completely upgrading it with modern bushings, and lowered the car about an inch below European spec. All the running gear and rear-end metal was powder coated, as were the signature Alfa Cromodora Turbina wheels.
Filippo also tore the engine down for a performance rebuild, with new bottom end bearings and balancing. For the top end, they machined the head, installed larger valves and polished the ports."

"...Mechanically, the engine was outsourced to Gran Turismo, also of Los Angeles, for a complete rebuild. Since the engine work was completed, only approximately 300 miles have accrued for testing purposes. During restoration, the transmission synchros were replaced as needed, and the suspension, brakes, and undercarriage were all properly rebuilt and refinished to FCA standards."

"...The 3.4-liter quad-cam Tipo F119 V8 features Bosch Motronic engine management and was factory rated at 296 horsepower and 238 lb-ft of torque. An engine-out service was performed by Gran Turismo of Los Angeles, California, in August 2022 and included the replacement of the timing belt, seal rings, thermostat, water pump, fuel filter, accessory belts, and camshaft gaskets in addition to converting the air conditioning system to R134a. The results of compression and leak down tests performed at that time are presented in the gallery.

"...This Dino was built in February of 1974 and was delivered to its new owner who resided in Beverly Hills, California. From that point on the vehicle was carefully maintained and loved by its owner until their unfortunate passing in 2017. At that time the ownership of the vehicle was passed to its second owner.
