Do you recognize the very elegant shape of this car ? Alfa Romeo Giulia or Giulietta ?
Designed by PininFarina, this car is immediately recognizable with its iconic front face and was a must have during the mid 50's to 60's, before being replaced by another hit from the Milanese car maker : the Duetto Spider.
Our current project is based an a Giulietta Spider (no scoop on the hood, an easy tip to distinguish it from the more powerful Giulia).
Not only the style of the car gave it a lot of appeal, but let's not forget the mechanic:
-1300cc engine with 65hp and an amazing melody
-5 speed manual transmission with Porsche synchronization
-independent front wheels
-3 calipers for each front brake...
This car was made to compete against the Porsches from the era and that's not a coincidence to feel a Porsche 356 vibe when looking at the dashboard.
As you can see from the pictures, we are doing a full restoration of this wonder of a car, including an engine swap (1750cc), to make it more punchy and powerful.
Follow our updates on this project, we just received the new differential, and started to work on the car's electrical scheme.
